Theresa May has returned to the election campaign trail today, asking voters who they trust to lead Britain through Brexit?
After her apparent u-turn on social care reform, the Prime Minister chose to put the focus on herself and Jeremy Corbyn.
Both of them have been keen to play up their strengths, while acknowledging but down-playing any potential weaknesses. Teresa May’s no-show at the last Leaders debate may have have damaged her ratings in the opinion polls, but Corbyn still has a mountain to climb if he is to become PM after June 8th, although that mountain seems to be getting a bit smaller….
The last week of campaigning is likely to be intense, whatever the result.
